How weird...but I get it.
I felt the same way about the Saturn SC2. First time I saw one, (1993) I loved it, but thought the tail lights should have been connected. Then in 95 they did, I had to have one. In 98 I bought one and still have it. She's 30 years old!

Definitely not the stock car it was o so long ago.

Fun fact, I really like the Capri orange that Fender uses, but couldn't buy that specific color from them.

So I set out to find a similar color. Guess what, Ford Valencia orange used on the original 70's Capris is a damn close match.

A new Ford Capri along with a new Citroen DS in the making...it seems like the cars of my childhood/youth are getting resurrected...with an ugly vampire quality to them. IMO.

May as well dig this one out from the grave and dress it up...
