Just watched a Jay Leno's Garage on YouTube that featured the Saint car. A guy in New Jersey has it now after a frame-off resto. Still has the original upholstery that cradled Roger Moore's butt. In fact, that was Roger's own car, not the studio's.

1969 Toyota Corona. My first real car. I have a neighbor who still has one, drives it fairly regularly. Tough car to kill.

The one that got away story...I was sixteen,looking to get my first car,next door neighbor was moving out of town and needed to lose his LeMans.I took it out with one of my best buds and gearhead,Gary,for a test drive.Just like this picture but faded yellow with all black inside....But I couldn't get the cash he wanted in time and he sold it to someone else....I ended up buying my cousin's Chevy Vega for $500.

I have owned exactly one GM-made gas-guzzing behemoth. Drove it a couple years and enjoyed it quite a bit. It looked cool but was strictly average in terms of quality, design and performance.

Some of our neighbors a while back had an early 70's Volvo 1800ES sportwagon in yellow. They are quite cool, and I'm sure they were the inspiration for the new C30 model.

Thanks, the best I could've done without looking it up was "the one from the movie".
I drove a '76 Torino on a route sales job all over the state of Ohio in the late '70s. I hated that car. It is the only Ford I ever drove that I despised.
I rode 80 highway miles on a windy day in a 60s VW microbus. Scared me. No power and felt like it would tip over in a stiff wind gust.
Yep...I too remember those. When I was a teen, we went on a long ski trip in friend's VW bus. Every time we were climbing up a long steep grade, we kept getting the middle finger by cars that were trying to pass us. It was at that particular time I decided I would never want to own one.
My shop restored that one. Lovely machine.
