My friend had a 76 Firebird with a 455 and I remember how cool the shaker scoop was.

It came to a bad end. One of his reckless coworkers decided to take it out for a joyride on his lunch break and drove it into a tree at 60 mph. My friend had no idea his coworker took it but he used just leave the keys in the ignition because for some reason he trusted everybody.
I really like the '63 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop. I know, 2 door is the going thing, but I like that the people in back getting in and out don't disturb the people in front.

Imagine a twin turbo LS with the 4L80E in that...... a solid nine second time slip, a smooth idle and decent gas mileage to boot. The ultimate sleeper.

I have a story about a MkII Jag as well actually - I was forced (without too much protestation) to drive a 4.2 MkII every morning in the spring and summer of 1971 when I was 16 and wasn't even old enough to have a licence. I was working in a petrol station/car repair place, and the garage owner made me go and collect all the days parts in it each morning.
All the sixth form girls from school used to see me, with my shades on, tooling around in a 4.2 Jag, when they were on their way to school.
Fabulous![]()
