I've been waiting for the week that the price drops on summer cars (nobody wants to store one for a winter that they are going to sell) and picked up this beauty. 2003 and ready to roll.
I will drive it for a week cause it's my new car, then put it away until April. In the meantime, I'll be accumulating interior parts to do a red/black leather job on it.
It will fit me and a bass and a 1x12, OR me and my girlfriend.
A BMW Z has been on my bucket list for a long, long time.

I actually drove one of those from Sacramento to Capitola. It was my mother in-laws. My wife and I took her with us on a week long stay. I docked that barge in Capitola village. It was about as bad an experience as I've had driving. I didn't hit anything. But I scared the crap out of the locals.

Interesting. That generation of Mustang has always been my least favorite. Different tastes. 1967 - 69 are my favorites, especially the Shelby, Boss, and Mach I models. Current Shelby GT350 is my all time favorite Mustang. Had one for a couple days last week. Ridiculously fun car.

That's a 68 SS396.

68 was the first year the SS package was available on the ElCamino. Of the roughly 42,000 ElCaminos built in 68, only 5,190 were the SS version, making it a fairly rare car...... And I'm lucky enough to have one.

A real 68 SS can be identified by the first five digits of the VIN.... which should be 13880.
