We took a shortcut to the meadow and forest area over the entrance road of the local hockey & tennis club. But you're right in some ways, because that club is in a town that has the highest average income in the country. And the highest rate of retired old aged people.
that's a beauty! i wonder who the coachbuilder was? they were ahead of the delahayes for sure. or maybe it was rebodied at a later date....?

I really like that BAT, but I'm not sure concept cars really fit in this thread.
Edit - "those BATs". 3 slightly different concept cars, from 1954, 1954, and 1955.
Apparently they were Alfa and Bertone's research/experiments with aerodynamics and low drag coefficients.

I like the one on the right with exposed headlights, I wonder if this wasn't George Barris' inspiration for the "the batmobile"

A lover of mine in the 1980's fell for and bought a GTV like the one below (against advice...)
She found, after a few weeks, that she had neglected to buy the requisite Alfa repair kit (a personal mechanic driving a truck full of money and tools to follow the car around...) and sold it.
But it sure was fun to drive for a while
