Well, you can't have it. It took me a long time to be able to afford this and I ain't letting go that easy.

I still have a lone, chrome Hipshot tuner, but I can't find a good place to mount it. I thought about having the pinstriper do some bass clef stuff, but decided against. I think I'm going to have the seat recovered in hand tooled leather though, with a bass clef right in the middle...right under me arse!

Oddly enough in Spanish arce is maple
By they way I really dig all your work especially the violin ones being an upright bassist, you should make a hollowbody one of those with some really ornate F holes and stylistically like a violin.

Yep, I've checked out their website a lot. They build in that style, but don't use a lot of springer front ends. They also use bigger rear tires and rounded rear fenders. I little bit different, but cool stuff. Check out Flyrite Choppers. Very similar to what I ended up with.

I tried to take some pictures outside, but my camera is not reproducing the dark, rich red that this bass really is. We'll see what happens when it's polished out and it's all together.
