PJ Club

Here's the two PJs together. Wilde pickups in the black Squier Precision Special, otherwise stock.

Here's one with of all 3 of my basses, including the Squier Vintage Mod Jazz (my first bass).

I'm not a chemist. Don't ask about the periodic table unless you want a boring story. ;)

Okay, @Marko5657 is #136!

Anyone else wanting a number just say the word!

In my reign as admin there will be but two rules to comply with in order to become a member:

  1. You must post a picture of your bass with a PJ pickup configuration, any body style as long as it has a split p and a single coil.
  2. You must ask for a number in the post (no need to send me a private message). If you post a pic but don't ask for a number, I'll assume you don't want one.
All members are members for life unless they ask to be removed.

What can I do about the missing little rubber thingy on the switch? Sam Ash had the whole switch assembly and I could take the thingy off that, but it's like $17 and buying it that just for that seems silly. I can't seem to find just the little thingy by itself to buy.

It'll probably takes weeks for the knobs to get to me from China. Do you know if this one is the one I need?
M4 x .7 thread for metric switch, black
Whew...that's a tough call. It's MIJ so it is likely metric...but there's two metric sizes (though the other ones are labeled for Epiphone). I'd say that the one you mentioned is 99.99% likely to be the right one.

Do you know what size knobs it needs? While I'm paying 7 bucks for shipping from stewmac, I might as well get some knobs while I'm at it.

I can measure at home later, but if you know...

Those look like split shafts, I'd go with the 6mm. They might be a loose fit but they have a set-screw so they should work fine...excellent choice on the flat top knob, that's my first choice too!

This one looks rough and they're asking a silly price. I bet someone can get them down to $200.
Used Fender 1988 Jazz Bass Special Magenta Electric Bass Guitar
Despite being very scratched up this bass plays great. The crack in the head stock is very solid and does not require repair.. This product comes with a bag.
