Beautiful! The body doesn't look worn though, have you repainted it?
Either way, wow, that's a beaut for sure! I'm getting the 70s vibe with the black guard/burst finish look.
Great choice for the pups too!
 
Well, bought the body on the bay as a roadworn, and it was indeed reliced, but most of it is on the sides, and mostly out of sight. Have no idea if it's a "real" roadworn (did they make different versions, or do they ALL have the same wear pattern?), but it's rather light and very resonant, and it was cheap. Then I annihilated any value it could have routing it for a jazz pup and a side jack anyway!

IMHO The "value" any bass has is the way it sounds, plays and the music you make with it. If you love this bass in it's current configuration, then it is priceless. Current resale value is immaterial unless you're planning on flipping it soon. Personally, I hang on to this one, it looks like a keeper to me.
