My other PJ is a Spector -- (Should be a bumper sticker)
My Spector NS2a - I had cut the original nut to string it BEAD and it was awesome in that roll. (Think of "Would I lie To You"' by the Eurythmics).
When I switched back to standard EADG it just wasn't playing as well (brass nut I was using was bit high) So I had the frets dressed, a new nut cut and setup for this guy.
Now sporting DR LoRiders 40-100s. It sounds like rock and roll thunder again!

From the highest authority (aka: my Photoshop-Wizard/Professional Artist girlfriend) MAGENTA is a form of pink, just with a bit o' FUSCIA in the mix. For example, ever seen references to "CMYK" in color separation? The "M" refers to MAGENTA. Here's a couple of examples of proper MAGENTA;

Update pic of this bass. I got a fretless neck from Warmoth and put a matching Bartolini in the J postition. Now it is finished.
I mostly work as a freelance sideman and I never get calls for Fretless, and so it sits at home a lot. My Jazz Deluxe V seems to get all the gigs I get for electric these days. Still, I love it.
I've been in the club a while with a number of basses, but here's an updated pic from right before Saturday's sessions. One has Wilkins nickels/Nordys, the other has TI flats and Pat Wilkins' pickups. Both of 'em of butter!
