Playstation 4 VS Xbox One

Just thought I'd share this. IGN released their extensive PS4 console review last week, and gave it a score of 8.2 (out of 10). They finished their Xbox One console review today, and gave it a 7.8 (out of 10). I typically rely on IGN for honest and accurate reviews when it comes to gaming.
Here are the two articles, if you want to check them out yourself...

Thanks for posting these. I read both completely and it just confirmed what I was feeling. Considering how much they bash the XBONE, I'm surprised it even got a 78. I just don't like the idea of yelling in my living room to get it to do things. I know you can use the controller instead, but I just don't care about tying TV in. The rest seems gimicky.

PS4 by far seems to be the superior interface and hardware, focused on gaming, which is what it is supposed to be for at it's core.

An example of the type of person who wants an Xbox One:

Metro said:
A young father who paid £450 for what he thought was an Xbox One on eBay was sent a photo of the new console instead.

Peter Clatworthy, 19, had saved up all year to buy the Microsoft console – which is now sold out – for his four-year-old son.

But days after paying for the Day One edition of the games system he received a grainy photo of one in the post, which, to add insult to injury, the seller had written ‘thank you for your purchase’ on the back of.

When he went back to the listing, Mr Clatworthy realised it had advertised ‘Xbox One Fifa Day One Edition, Photo Brand New UK 2013′, despite featuring an image of the console and being listed under the ‘video games and consoles category’.

The teenager, from Bilborough, Nottinghamshire, said he was ‘absolutely gutted’ despite being given a full refund from eBay, which said it would take action against the seller as misleading listings are not allowed.

‘I told my brother and he was crying with laughter, so were all of my mates, it is quite embarrassing,’ he said.

‘Even my mum said I was a bit stupid considering it said it was a photo on the listing.’

Mr Clatworthy added: ‘It has potentially ruined Christmas.’

I feel a little bit sorry for him, and the seller is obviously a bit of a scumbag. But wow, what an idiot. Though a 19 year old, trying to buy it for his 4 year old (apparently), he ain't going to be a nobel prize winner.

Apparently this is a tactic that has been used before. There was a case very similar on The People's Court once. A person paid a couple of hundred bucks or so for a new I-phone and got sent a pic of the item instead. The scam artist was a total biotch. She was nasty and insulting, calling the plaintiff stupid for not reading the ad copy properly, and was hostile to the judge. She naturally lost, but she was completely un-apologetic and calling Judge Milian names as she walked out the door. A real prize, that one.

I Just bought a ps3 it has enough graphic and games for me, i don't like the ps4 or xbox one

Certainly a good console, and I'll still use mine. Plenty of games too.

I remember a number of years back there was many ebay ads for an "Xbox box" which was pretty much the same con. But you do need to be a bit of a turnip to fall for something advertised as a box or photo.

Those court shows are awesome. I'm gonna try to find the clip on YouTube.
