Please explain Zombie

I like zombie films because I like to see morons get eaten.

I can second that. While I am not so big on the deaths of the inoffensive, I particularly enjoy watching zombies munch down the truly deserving. But I suppose if zombies only ate a$$hats, it would stretch credibility. ;)

Plus, like a lot of post-apocalyptic themes, its a take on how we, as humans, would deal with it. Some would rise to their best, some just try to get by, and some would descend to almost zombie like behavior themselves, preying on whoever they could for their own benefit. And, I am sure, plenty would "opt out", as Dr. Jenner said in The Walking Dead.

I had to put this here, "we're safe but for how long?"

that being said, zombies are cool and stuff, but it's no big deal if it's not your deal. It's mostly a camp factor thing for me, sometimes there are legitimately good high-budget zombie films, but for the most part the best ones are made on a drawstring budget and have a sense of humour, think return of the living dead, it's better than zombie land because zombie land seems to have some post-modern "hey look, it's COOL to be geeky now, see how cool it is?", it's like somebody gave them a huge budget, but nobody told them that acting like you have a low budget on a big budget just isn't the same. Or something like that, just watch the link, it's kids in the hall.
