Not 70's / 80's 4001 thin but pretty thin compared to a modern 4003.

Amazing neck, high output Toaster, long headstock, just-right neck width + the vermillion fingerboard and wings kill me it sounds perfect.
I told my gal if I ever tried to sell it she has to leave me and / or kick me in the pants in no particular order - because she is sick of listening to me talk about getting a Chris Squire signature bass someday!

By the way, you mentioned having a 60s Ric - a 4001? If so, did you experience any noticeable difference in playability between the CS and your 60s Ric?
