Lefty Duke 2.JPG Like others have said - "depends on the bass". As for "depends on the music"? Well, that's why I have 2 dozen basses...:whistle: I have a few basses - like the Alembic, the Gretsch, and the 450B Kramer - that I'm still fiddling with and trying to decide how I want them. Of the rest with 2 pickups, about half are 50/50; the others are "mostly neck, some bridge". I don't think I have one that's the other way 'round - yet. The one in the picture? The Kramer Duke Special actually does have two pickups (Dimarzio Jazz); just mounted back-to-back. Can't really blend them though. I can only run both; the bridge p/u only; or half of each in a P-Bass configuration. You should see the mare's nest of wiring in the control cavity...:wideyed:
