I'm inclined to agree about that abalone. I'd want a lighter shade of it, though. All of the choices I listed in the poll are from one pickguard shop, but there are obviously others, and I've found a couple that have some really nice abalone-type material. They also have that Dingwall brown swirl material.
So many good possibilities...
I think they call that brown swirly stuff baltic amber. It looks great but not on the Seafoam
That would look great on a natural ash body
