Poll: What inlay designs do you like?

I just bought a left handed Revelation bass from UK and it's really gorgeous. Unfortunately it's needing some neck and fret work. I love the block pearloid with cream/white trimming on side of fretboard...

At my first opportunity . Just recently bought another dotted bass though, so it may unfortunately have to wait a bit.

I prefer maple fingerboard with pearl blocks, while there are pretty much more patterns i like, like the ritter's oval circle, bongo's inlay, yamaha rbx6jm's pattern, and dot-sized round circles

I'm a sucker for Gibson's art deco split blocks on a suitable guitar - nice and simple. Not firm when it comes to bass but I like blocks and I like the dots on mine, especially the pāua ones l l l l

I like the boomerang inlays on my Hamer Impact bass. But I prefer no inlays on the fingerboard face. I never look at the face of the board when I am playing. Dots on the side of the board are necessary for me. I do own a few basses with inlays including a Warrior Gabriel. With the angel inlay in the middle of the neck. That one doesn't get played, I bought it to display.

I voted for none. My Birdsong's have dots on the side only, and I have grown to like that a lot.

I prefer no inlays if possible, dots are solid otherwise.

Otherwise the birds on the PRS Kestrel are pretty cool.

I like the combination blocks/side blocks on my Schecter.

They function as "side dots" too since they extend into the side of the bass! It's unique which caught my eye

I like Spector inlays especially on my bass.

For the most part, I dont care, but I lean towards this:

Jazz Bass -- I prefer blocks over dots
Precision Basses -- Id rather have dots over blocks
Rics - Triangles over dots
