Poor quality Mark Bass products

I think he's attempting to summon the haters. I'm sure there will be a few. There always are.
'You rang?"

My two MB cabs have been going strong for a long time now. Close to 10 years, I think. I moved on my LMIII head because I wasn't digging how it sounded when trying to do "rock" sounds. It did everything else really well, and my buddy who bought it used it for a few more years before moving out west. I have an Orange head now, but the MB cabs have never done me dirty.

OP still doing his best to not explain himself, which should be fun...

Is anyone else having problems with poor quality Mark Bass products, or is it just me?

My Little Mark 500 stopped working with effectively no use.

I am really disappointed.
Me. A couple 3 years ago I bought a new LM800 and right after the warranty died so did the amp. I had it fixed once, only to die again. It's made in Indonesia.

It's a pity, because their amps made in Italy were like a rock. I have one going on 15 years and it works great.

Bought new
Occasionally a product will be defective. That’s why products have warranties, to cover the rate customer that finds themselves in your position.

Contact the manufacturer and follow their directions for getting your amp repaired or exchanged under warranty.

This is a good point. I bought all my MB stuff before they moved production from Italy over to Indonesia. Actually, the second cab I managed to snag used once they had moved out east, but it was an older Italian model

All indications are that there is no quality difference between Italian and Indonesian assembled units. I have both and see no discernable difference in quality. Markbass may have had a hiccup or two when they 1st relocated assembly to Indonesia but that was years ago. All Markbass gear goes through inspection both after assembly and again after being shipped to Italy for final inspection.

So far I've acquired (= bought) the following Markbass products:

1. CMD121P combo (made in Italy), in 2009.
2. NY121 cab (made in Indonesia), in 2017.
3. Little Mark Vintage head (made in Indonesia), in March 2021.
4. NY122 cab (made in Indonesia), in June 2021.

Very happy with the quality, never had any issues with any of them. Use them for two to three hours per day on average. Nothing too wild, I'm an amateur bassist.
