You can get them in almost any color. Expensive pedal but so worth it...I use it with my Korg M3 sometimes for some drum beats. Interesting sounds indeed.

Moog MP-201

It's a CV and Midi controller that you can use with several pedals. It has different LFOs you can apply as well as presets. Basically it gives you expression control of a number of pedals and a bunch of other goodies. A handy tool.

I know Proton is using it to control the VCA on his new tremolo, the Pitchfactor and the cutoff on his custom filter ("The Proton Pack") presumably for doing synthy sweeps.

Yeah, Jared pretty much got it. I use it to control the exp pedal, tap tempo, bank down, and flex/learn on my Pitchfactor. And for sweeps and LFO'ing on my Trem box and Filter

I actually mostly de-gooped it about a year ago, but did not get around to doing anything further until yesterday.

I actually mostly de-gooped it about a year ago, but did not get around to doing anything further until yesterday.

BJFE pedals are notorious for being absolutely smothered in goop. If you've ever opened one, you'd see just how ridiculously secretive they are. Of course, I don't mind, because Björn's pedals definitely sound unique, and if they aren't based on some unique design, that doesn't bother me. But it would bother some people.

Also, from what I understand he doesn't believe in mojo/NOS/expensive type parts, and I think a lot of people would be butthurt to find out that their $350 pedal was crafted from plebeian bits, no matter how amazing it sounds.

That being said, I remain infinitely curious as to bongomania's findings in this matter.

I'm stoked for Bongo's findings! I ordered that op amp for a whopping $.33! I'm going to throw that plus 2 red LEDs in my tone-modded DOD 250 and see how that goes.

I use EBS asymmetric connectors between four of the five pedals, I don't know why more people don't use these, they take up way less space and are much tidier to set up!

I like this a lot, simple but effective. That's very similar to mine. I alway put my Sansamp stompbox in such a way that I can run DI on it easily (on the top or side).

Curious: what are these EBS connectors you speak of? I googled it and some Oracle [programming] hits...and this thread. I'm looking for a good sub for using George L's to connect adjacent pedals.
