OKAY! I'm finally ready to share.
A little background:
I've been playing bass in professional situations on and off for 30+ years. I was staunchly "anti-pedal." The axe, the cable (or wireless unit) and the amp was everything I needed.
But with my latest band, I decided to expand my sonic horizons. The occasional tasteful use of effects by players like Tom Hamilton, Roger Waters, and Phil Lynott (to name a few) got the better of me. Plus, I'm a guitar player as well, and I routinely use pedals in those endeavors.
So, without further ado, MY FIRST BASS PEDAL BOARD...

Chain as follows (from front right to back right to output back left):
Pewaves JTP-10 Tuner, EH Bassballs, Sadowsky Outboard Preamp, Behringer Bass Overdrive, Behringer Ultra Bass Flanger, Marshall Vibratrem, Marshall Regenerator (set to phaser), Behringer Bass Chorus, Behringer Digital Delay.
All powered by two daisy chains from Danelectro 9.6v adapters. Quiet as can be, no hum, everything must be aligned polarity. I thought about getting a couple of Voodoo Labs Pedal Powers, but I don't think it needs it.
The looped dual instrument cable lets me quickly hook this up to wireless and amp.
Yes, these are some of the cheapest pedals on the used market, and that was the plan. I can always switch them out one at a time, but I have no reason to even consider it. This rig functions beautifully, and I have coaxed some great tones out of these pedals.
I think I solved my "velcro dilemma" pretty efficiently by going to the craft store, picking up some poly-foam, and shaping it to the upper lid. Along with the velcro, it holds everything perfectly in place during transport. The pedal board/box is a Chinese-made CNB offered at Rondo Music.
I welcome comments, observations, critiques, etc., as this is actually a little more elaborate than my guitar pedal board.

Indeed, the Sadowsky outboard preamp has solved a lot of issues for me, mainly, how to get the same preamp tone/boost for all my passive basses in one fell swoop. It's a great pedal, I love how it gently and transparently boosts everything and gives it that "oomph," no anomolies or quirks. Easy as pie.
Just a little update from a few pages ago. Lost the Optostomp in favour of the Diamond (fantastic!) and did some house keeping.
Managed to make room for a whole new pedal! Good thing cause my Electric Mistress should be here any day now. Was supposed to replace the CEB3, but now that there's room...

I use the T.M. Wah in the 2nd loop with the bddi (due to some volume loss), but when I have my amp i take it out of the loop and run the it through the back of my amp w/ a dbx 160a.

I noticed you have a boss bass overdrive aswell as a sansamp vt bass, i was looking to replace my boss with the sansamp, does the sansamp not achieve some of the sounds you get with the boss?
Distortion into sansamp is a beautiful thing

That's one of the coolest looking muff mods I've seen. A lot of times people just sort of randomly place new knobs on there and it looks pretty ghetto, but that almost looks like it shipped from the factory that way.
What are the mods?

and some things you can see are; "Cream" utmost gain that you can get from the gainstages, really goes full throttle; Tone wicker on the clipping stages; True Bypass; and a DC jack

See my profile for basses (and amps). I have an Acoustic 370 running Emperor and Peavey 2x15 cabs and a Markbass LMII running a Carvin BRX 4x10 cab. Signal is currently split from the Micro POG, one signal going to the VT Bass and then 370, the other going through the rest of the effects into the LMII.
I won't go through the pages and pages here to see if this has been asked and answered. But as a n00b, what is that opened gizmo at the top that everyone seems nuts about? What's the lore?
That is a BJFE Blueberry, considered the Holy Grail of bass OD's by some. Do a search here and you'll find oodles of info in it.
