That Moog foot bass is SEX.

oh, I see you have an Xotic EP pedal. what is it like for the bass? I'be been thinking of getting one too but I've only seen guitar players use them......

,
Thinking of wiring this up:

Not sure completely though. The gap will be filled by some sort of fuzz, something gated maybe. I'm thinking about a Devi Ever Silver Crank.

Still a work in progress at the moment, but any ideas would be great.

Which one would you use if you could only have one on your board (no other distortion pedal). The Xotic RC or BB preamp?

And.... one last change! :p

I recently put my Visual Volume off-board & added the Xotic X-Blender w/ Fulltone Bass-Drive Mosfet in it's loop. That has now dethroned my Xotic BB (I'm keeping the BB, but I'm definitely preferring the Bass-Drive + X-Blender combo).

I've been A/B'ing this shiny, new Octamizer w/ my MXR Bass Octave Deluxe & well..... the Octamizer has won! I think I'm keeping the MXR, but the Aguilar is my go-to octave now!

I've got a Fulltone Choralflange in my 'aux' loop right now, but I also have other options (Boss ODB-3, DD-5, EHX Nano Small Stone, LPB-1, Bass Big Muff, Fender Sub-Lime Bass Fuzz, Xotic BB). Then, theres' the MURFBoard that also gets used (with a Moog BassMURF w/ expression pedals and tap tempo, a great AboveGroundFX Reverb + both in their own true bypass loop...).

Rejigged again, I've got rid of the M9 (well, given it my brother who plays guitar) as I found myself not making much, if any, use of it in my band or even at home. Strangely enough I'm having even more fun with this set up, really enjoying the hold function on the DD-6. However, I might try add in a boost pedal as the reverb seems to be getting really lost in the mix. Every time I change my set up I always seem to change it again within 2 weeks, so hopefully this one can last.

Oh, took the picture on my phone hence the poor quality.

I dig it. The AGS is a nice gain boost and gives it that little umph to take it into overdrive. I have added a moog ring mod and a memory boy to the board and I'm working to get an updated pic up soon.

Honestly, I keep seeing the submarine pre-amp pedal on peoples boards and I was wonder how different it would sound in comparison to my tone hammer pre-amp. Not to mention I'd like a quality drive to replace the AGS function. Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone tried any of these to compare?

How do you like your Tone Hammer?

Finally got my board's decorative "outer shell" finished (although I still need to trim the edge facing me). The wiring also sucks, but it's still a work in progress. :)
