Hey! I've been to almost every Drool Pigs event, except the rainy blowout a few years back ( had a wedding to go to. Otherwise I would have slogged it out). Played 2 or 3 of them with Drifting Compass back in the day. When are they coming back?!

Very cool! I know Nomad, he and DC are still pretty active around here.
I've only played 2 DP fests, the one pictured with Folk in A, and 2018 with Bordinghouse. The fest outgrew the venue, and between that and Covid I haven't heard about it coming back. If I hear something I'll PM you.

Only get my headstock in this one, but I love the guy's head in the crowd. No idea what song we were into but he's loving it.

You know you're getting older when a high school friend (behind drums) sends you pictures of you playing bass at a local "talent search" at the Boys and Girls Club from 1988(?) and you... don't... remember... any... of... it.
He also sent me a recording of us playing 4 songs, IN THE STUDIO, that I also have no recollection of. But I do recognize the playing and the songs and it is me on it. Just no memories of the studio time, where, when and with whom.
But what a great blast from the past.

Just found this. From 1979. My band opened for James Chance & The Contortions. It was at the Thayer St. Loft in Boston. James took umbrage at someone trying to take his picture. He took umbrage at just about everything. Shoulda got combat pay.
Probably not my favorite but the only picture of me that someone drew fan art of.
