And since I don't think I've uploaded any of the other ones, here's one by the same artist:

And one I got a couple years ago by the owner of the shop that the guy who did the above two works at:

I have a couple more, but I have no idea where the pics are, and I don't have a good camera right now.

when it comes to pain, i think it varies by the artist as well as the placement. some artists have heavier hands than others and tend to hurt more, but those are usually the better artists :-/. but yea after awhile u get used to the pain, it becomes more annoying than anything. for me, the most painful spot so far has to be the top of my shoulder, coller bone. that xxxx is all bone and hurts like heck. just check out lots of artists when u decide to get one. there are trillions of tattoo artists out there so going to the one right down the street can be a bad idea. good luck tho
I would add that the the underside of the calf muscle bulge, on the back of your leg is ridiculously painful. I had no idea it would be that bad. It is 10 times worse than the top of the shoulder, at least for me. In all honesty, when I was in getting my calfpiece done, I wanted to cry.

that looks awesome, and it's a great visual idea, having them large enough where you're part of the chain. will the next monkey be similar to the first in size or will they rapidly shrink as if they are descending and getting farther away? what about color?

Thanks. The next one will be a little smaller, and they'll continue to shrink as they go down my leg and into the barrell around my ankle. Then I'll color them just like the toys. Red and blue, with one yellow one. I've been talking about it for ten years or so and finally decided to start it.

whoa, that's really cool, pop!

Cheers icon, it's an idea i'd had for a long time. Work probably started on it a year ago but me and my artist are lazy. I moved to byron with my artist late last year to get it finished but never ended up doing that, spent our time surfing and what not, haha.
It's a take on day of the dead skulls, which will be more obvious when it's done. The tentacles will have red fire waves/swirls through them too.

I spent a few hours today on Link Removed if anyone wants to try it. It's basically a "hot or not" type site w/ tattoo ratings, comments, profiles, and top 10. Still under construction and I'm the only profile right now, but if anyone wants to signup and add some photos, be my guest. Thanks :bassist:

Btw, I should be getting more ink soon. Targeting my ribs next I think :crying::bassist:

Thoughts on getting a giant black widow-ish thing on my upper arm/shoulder/chest/back area?

The upper arm would be the large bulbus part, and right at the shoulder would be the smaller one with the rear 4 legs going down my arm (to just around the mid bicep) and the front 4 going across my chest and back. the head would have rather mean looking mandables and be looking like its gonna bite my head off or something.....

Im just thinking about it at this point.
