Post your old Jazz Basses

1972 jazz. Bought in 1996. Soon to be for sale.

65 (neck date, but 66 pots, so I guess 66).
Hippie refin and a repro guard. Otherwise all old. Def older than 1995.

And my workhorse 77.
Black over mocha refin, that's peeling off, BadAssII bridge, I have the original pickups but I put a set of EMGs in it.

And this beautiful Tokai from 1980 I sold like an idiot

Interesting the 77 is your workhorse over the 66.

Similar story for me in a way. I had this 69 jazz for a while, probably the best fender neck I’ve ever played. Lovely bass all around really, but I always gravitated back to my 78 when I wanted the jazz bass sound. I don’t know, maybe I got used to it having owned it for 20+ years now, but as much as I loved to play the 69 the 78 was my reference for a jazz bass.

Wasn't sure if this was a Fender only thread but since there's a Tokai and Masada previously posted, I'll add in a '70's MIJ Robelli.
Better tuners and truss rod access than Fender. Added a push-pull parallel / series neck volume pot.
String through ferrules were added by a previous owner.
Honest playwear, no relic. It's a shame they cheapened up the name brand later on, but Robelli folks know that the early ones are real deal.

All jazzes are welcome. I noticed the string ferrules on the back, that’s pretty unique for vintage made in japan! Pretty cool headstock shape as well.
