I'm confused, the PP2 has one AC output on it. Unless you need more than one, it can work, no?
Not the same output I'm referring to, though.
You can indeed use the courtesy AC outlet on the Pedal Power 2+ to power a Whammy; I've done it myself, in fact. You just plug the wall wart into the outlet...
But that's a problem for some of us. It's a bulky wall wart, and it makes it impossible for you to mount the PP2+ under most pedalboards (like my Pedaltrain Jr., for example). Plus, there have been times at gigs where our rhythm guitarist could not get close enough to a wall outlet for his pedalboard, and the courtesy outlet proved extremely useful. Thus, I need to keep it open and free.
The Pedal Power Versa prototype offered a 9VAC output to run such a pedal without the wall wart. I'm sure they'll keep that on the final version, since the goal of the Versa is to power both kinds of pedals without wall warts.
You could run a powerstrip off the courtesy outlet.
I know what you mean about the size though. Mine's inside my pedal board, so I still have access to it.
True, but the bigger your power supply gets, the more pedals you need to justify it.
Not to mention, a bigger board... and I rather like the compact frame of my PT-Jr.

It's a Catch-22....."Oh, look! I have two spots left on my power supply. I need two more pedals."
And then somehow you manage to buy three pedals so you need a bigger power supply, and all of a sudden you need more pedals again.
The same thing goes with pedal boards. Try not to have any open space or you'll just find a way to fill it.
It is a phase shifter that I designed. It is based of the MXR Phase 90 but has many differences. It offers control over speed, waveform, bias, and has a mix knob for blending your clean signal in.
The toggle switch will disable the speed control, but allow the user to use his foot via photosensors to control the rate in real time. Plus, the LED will flash in time with the phase.
This is the prototype box. The real boxes will be shipped off to be hand painted. Yes, soundclips will be available when it is done

Cool, a quick update, that and my analog filter boards are being made. I can't wait to have them on my board. Soundclips to follow along with a double review of the Woolly Mammoth(my mod for active basses) and Fuzz Factory.
Well, I meant to post this earlier. I set up this pedalboard, and then 3 weeks later my band broke up. So now its all moot. I'm now back in the studio for my electronic group, and the board is completely torn apart again. 
But anyways, here it was while it lasted. Sorry for the dark first image. The lighting in that room is so weird.

Hows the bit fuzz on bass? always wanted one mainly cause im a nerd and love anything nintendo related!
I think the Bit is amazing, personally. It is very synthy and gated. I did a demo of it in a thread last winter, and it got a pretty good reception. Tons of low end. It also depends on the bass you're playing. I play an active bass. On passives, it is a bit more sputtery.
SKB Stagefive with just the basic stuff I need. I don't normally use a lot of effects. So this works for me. It's nice to know though that the SKB has the room and power supplies to handle just about anything I might need down the road.

Just picked up a Pedaltrain today. Now I'll have to decide on cabling... Lava Cable or George L's. Any opinions would be appreciated.
Nice! I love the Slicer! Cable wise, I think G-Lo's are pretty cool and will probably serve you the best with their ergonomics.
Yeah, the Slicer is a lot of fun... especially when MIDI-ed to a drum machine!
