Post Your Pedal Board XII - Dirty Dozen

From what I understand, the Double Muff is not very Low-end friendly. I have not used one.

The two LBMs would probably sound better and be more controllable in parallel, something I'm trying to build a parallel box for.

Right, the double Muff is no where near any Big Muff, two different circuits(muff fuzz and big muff pi respectably).

Generally, bassists like the Big Muff, but I can see diggin the Double muff too. :)

My Double-Muff hold retains the bass alot better than my Marshall Drivemaster.

But yeah, even in Double mode its no where a Big Muff, but i prefer it, and it doesnt have the mid scoop that the big muffs have

Yup, thats what I was trying to get at. I kind of want to try it just to see what sounds I can get, though I think I'm pretty attached to the hip with my Messdrive Hybrid and Woolly Mammoth. Can't beat that gated Fuzz thing IMHO :smug:

Slight update, as per usual:

this is my contribution, for now....

i'm soon to be putting all this a bigger case and running them thru another preamp/di/eq/compressor unit (not seen here)

the b1 is only used for whammy effects (2 octaves, POW!), 'cos i'm not real keen on the rest of the effects it has....the 506 mk2 is better IMHO (even they were only 32khz)

where the trogotronic at?
Locked behind the sixth door of the sixth house on Fifth Street. :ninja:

Either that or in a Zebracase. I rarely use it, and it doesn't really respond to anything run through its input anyhow, so it will likely never end up on my board. Quite the strange creature, that one. Did you get yours yet? :D

Moved the flanger and delay/pitchshifter out of the blend loop. Traded for a Devi Ever KF and put that in the blend loop.

The two Boss pedals are the PS-2 and the BF-2. I traded a g***** wah for a Boss CE-5 which is on its way. Then my custom fuzz is coming to fill the last space next to the looper (it no longer has a decorative frog, but my girlfriend's eye).

Crappy phone picture turned art shot.

It's been awhile since I've posted an update, sorry I don't have a picture but what I'm running currently is:

Wilson 12 Position Bass Q Wah -> Z. Vex Box of Rock -> Frantone Lo Tone Classic Fuzz -> Voodoo Lab Tremolo -> MXR Carbon Copy

The Box of Rock provides a little overdrive for my "rhythm" sound, as always, and the Lo Tone with my SG Bass gives me some ripping yet thunderous leads and heavy riffs. The more I use the Wilson Wah the more I seem to like it, seriously check it out it's a great alternative to those mass produced bass and guitar wahs. The Tremolo is probably my favorite modulation effect to date for adding some vintage style color to some of my riffs, and the Carbon Copy is a really great, simple warm delay for some of those psychedelic breakdown sections. Overall I'm happier with this setup than I've ever been with any other so there it is.

So the OCD got the boot?
