Finally able to post in this thread! So excited...here is the signal chain:

Bass>Korg Pitchblack+>EHX Bass Big Muff> CoPilot Fx Gyroscope> Phase 90 (w/ EVH mod)> Boss RV-3> EB VPjr> Aguilar Tone Hammer> Amp

Got a few more pedals waiting to be added once I get around to building a bigger board :rollno:

urm...... upgraded to a LytBoard32 from a LytBoard24.

got to put a couple more pedals on. anybody used the Devi Ever SUPER MASSIVE BLACK HOOOOOOOOOLE before? used to just be called Bass Fuzz i think.

thing is a BEAST.

AGAIN with the crappy pics. i don't like the camera on my Palm Pre, but it sure is more convenient.

behndy, do you play live with that board? It's huge!

lol.... i DO play live with it, this Saturday the first time. we don't have a guitar player, so it's just me, the singer/keyboardist and a drummer. i gets lotsa stage real estate yo. and i'm like 6'4" so... i make it look smaller....?

the only thing i'm worried about is having the EHX pedals next to each other. they look verrrrrrrrry similar in the dark. thinking about trying the light upgrade in this guys "pimp your board" how-to.

and, like in the downsizing thread, i only use about 4 of those effects live right now. not counting the always on PBDI or the LMB.

This is my pedal board at the moment, i am VERY happy with it so i don't see any foreseeable changes apart from the DD-6 is actually my mates that I'm borrowing, so ill probably get a DD-3 of my own.

In my mind the Pickle and the Russian PI might be a little redundant live. Can you speak to how you use them differently?

well i use the Russian big muff for my cutting parts such as double hand tapping parts and lead bass riffs, and use the pickle for bigger/fuller sections that need epic-ing

Compared to other muff variants I have played, the Pickle has a lot more bottom end. I think amroach's approach would be a good one.

I think you are the first bassist I've seen fill up one of those Lyt boards. I could be mistaken though. Looks good how do you like the Lyt? I've considered the smaller version of those.

i freaking LOVE it. it's (relatively) cheap, like $80 for the (bigger) board and $200 with the case. it IS about 7 lbs like say on the website... which is nice if you jam it full of pedals. they have a much stronger case (the cheaper one is sorta thin wood) that would stand up to flying better, but that's not an issue right now.

i did like the smaller one, it's just nice having a lot of choices. i WAS going to swap the Digitech for a Audible Disease RP-1 (a feedback looper), but the thing doesn't have a power supply! can't really run a "battery-only" pedal on a pedalboard. sending that back and getting a Death by Audio Total Sonic Annihilation (or whatever they call their feedback looper). other than that, pretty happy.

I got my RV-3 today. Its good seeing a few of you guys with it on your boards.

What's your favorite setting?

I use it on the second to last reverb setting I believe with the feedback and delay times just past noon. I haven't had it too long, so that might change, but I do love the sound that I am getting out of it. The Reverb+Delay modes are really cool, but I think that tap tempo is a must for me, so I probably won't use them as much . It sounds sooo good. I've gotten nothing but complements from my band so far.

I like this board a lot and I'm totally down with your use of fuzz tones. :bassist:
