heh heh. yeah, i likes me some disto/fuzz/od. check out the rack :

getting to the point where i have the sansamp on all the time - put it in the db680's effects loop, with a FS to engage it, and i might just lose the FS heh.

still experimenting with layout, hence the semi-connected state of things, but this is pretty much what it's going to be, i think.

gonna have a few loops coming to this thing from the switchblade, hence the patchbay, and the big white monstrosity (covered power strip) will be moving under the patchbay once the layout is done. gonna have the mp201 connected to the mf, the geiger counter, and both moogs.

very niceee even tho its not a board. i got the overdrive and im looking to buy the big muff. how's the wah/multi-effects red pedal? A friend of mine uses it for guitar, but I have never seen someone use it on bass.

It's not actually a Wah, but a pitch shifter, octave and harmonizer built into one! Work's great. Funnest toy I think I have.

Agreed, and we appreciate that John!!! I just don't get how people can be that way, you know? I mean, just because my favorite color is blue doesn't mean that blue is better than green. If what you have sounds good to you... amen to that brother, that's what counts. Gearsnobbery is just dumb.

Good to hear about the Whammy, I just ordered one of the 20th Anniversary ones. How's the bypass on it? What I've read makes me think it might be a little iffy, so depending on what it sounds like, I might send it to Molten Voltage for true bypass mod or maybe get a true bypass micro loop.

I'm on vacation this week, so I've been toying with the idea of putting my BIG board back together when the Whammy comes in. I went with the modular boards because this thing was just too d@mn big. Even this one was dubbed the "Death Star" board by the guitarist at church. The power bricks will have to go underneath and I'll probably have to add a 1-spot now, but oh man, think of the fun! lol

It's been a long time since I posted in one of these. I've moved away from effects recently, since I'm no longer playing in a band, and have lived in a small apartment where random self-oscillations were not welcome. Now, my situation is mildly better.

I sold off a lot of my pedals, as well as the PT-Pro they used to be on. Here's what I have left

I've got a Digitech Jamman on the way, but UPS keeps screwing up.

Are there requirements for something to be called a legitimate pedal board?

Like:

> can fit into a case

> have holes/slits for cables to hide under

> have a method for attaching pedals (like velcro)

> be painted black

> have a power supply like a Brick

> have at least X number of pedals

> have not more than Y number of pedals

> at least one pedal must be some type of Muff

> must sit on the floor

Idea is working! running power. Basically Im listing to BCBC. You got me thinking bud and now my board is 50% more evil then it was.

Pict as soon as I get power sorted out.
