Lol, I'm in Australia! Wonder how much shipping is from there, probably not worth it. But seriously, you should resolder the joints, I bet that would fix it.
I'd love one of those pedals to use on my band's cover of "Cars" by Gary Numan, to approximate the bass and keys in unison part.

Since I have a rough idea how many dollars worth of pedals have been under your feet in the last 2-3 years, I'll take the expensive comment with a pinch of salt.
They be George L's. Solderless, reasonably reliable, a bit pricey but once you have enough plugs you can reuse them over an over, you just have to buy some new cable every now and then.

Here is where the pedalboard goes when it leaves the house.
Our jam last night got recorded. It sounds massive in this room and we get loud enough that we all have to wear earplugs. This band is basically an improvisational noise band. The term aggressive jamband got kicked around last night. I'm sure we aren't doing anything new but it is unique to the area.
The SVT in the background needs repair and even though it isn't mine I may have it repaired anyways cause it's a vintage tube amp. The 810 cab powered by a QSC poweramp with a DI coming off my GK.
Here is the guitar players board as well. He's got a Big Muff to put on there as well.

...why not throttle everyone down a couple of notches, then? Although it just now occurred to me that the drummer could be the main volume lvl 'decider' for the room...

We actually prefer it that way. I realize there is a school of thought that you don't have to rehearse at high volumes and If this were a funk outfit,...or just a straight up rock'n'roll band then I would be shooting for lower rehearsal volumes. BUT: We are a noise band with little structure and lots of experimentation. It is almost our mission to assault people with feedback, heavy distortion, fuzz (my pedalboard sounded so sick last night!!!!) thick bass, layered delays,.....atonal guitar work. The fact that we have to wear earplugs is almost like a badge of honor.
Too much of what's around here is boring, non passionate,..too quiet (I attribute a lot of that to weak sounding; clean bass rigs) straight up R'n'R. I mean that's fine but I wanna pour emotion and power into our live performances (still gotta play our first one) and we believe that improv bassed groove noise will attract some dedicated attention. I'm prepared for people to not get it,...or not like it,...but I want the people that do get to hear it and hear something different each time.
I think the volume translates better on the recordings as well (we record every "rehearsal" no matter how bad we may be off). I'll post some of the choicer tracks when they become available in the "I wanna hear your basslines with FX" thread.
FWIW. I use the DB reducing Hearos which I find a lot clear than the orange spongey earplugs and my ears aren't ringing.

yeah... if you're doing certain noisy things, it doesn't really work at quieter volumes.
.... 'course, i do kinda wanna throttle my singer when we play WAY too loud because he "can't hear himself well enough to sing".
i worry about his hearing actually. we were trouble shooting this weird Mac/Motu interface problem, and my tiny bass amp i use as a portable pa/line check thing was making a reall high pitched squeal. that he honestly couldn't hear.

I'm totally with you, Warwick. My band plays loud too, mainly for our drummer's sake. It's pretty hard to play a heavy breakdown quietly, and it looses a lot of force, as well, not just volume.
My old band had a motto: Practice how you play. We would throw down during practice the same as if we were on stage. That way, once we WERE on stage, we were used to throwing our guitars, jumping, yelling along with gang vocals, etc., and everything was just a whole lot more natural.
Also, just for the sake of going back to the topic at hand, I added a Roland EV-5 expression pedal to my setup to manipulate the pitch shifting stuff on my Ring Thing. I'm not sure when I would really be able to use it with my band, but it's fun to mess around with.
