Post Your Pedalboard - Part I

i'd like to see someone post a photo of a pedal board with all true bypass handbuilt pedals only! im trying to build one myself with a pedal train board, maxon AF9, fulltone bass drive, Zvex mammoth, homebrew phaser, maybe a Ross comp clone.
lets see who can come up with the most 'classy' pedal board.

Most classy pedalboard belongs to either Davidmwilson, Tecx, Toasted or Bongomania they all have pedals that are prototypes, highly modified and just generally a bit different

I don't think the maxon is true bypass or hand built but I could be wrong.

I think you qualify for having an ace pedal when more than 3 people go oooo what's that (insert colour) pedal you have there?

the moral of this tale is it's not how much it cost's its how good it sounds.

Ah, but finding the right one(s) can be difficult....
especially cause most dists aren't meant for bass

I have found the right ones for the time being. and what i mean by "for the time being" is until i can afford an english muffn I dont think u can go past the big muff, and the guvnors are pretty decent too

If you heard me playing... you'd want to stay clear of delay. I'm going to be going to Arizona pretty soon, so afraid I can't do any recording right now. I'm sure you could find someone on talkbass to hook you up.

I'm a bit the same - I've got two distortion/fuzz pedals and an EQ to screw with this a bit, and a Wah - and a chorus i rarely use.
The kind of music i like to play, and my style doesn't really warrant too many pedals at this time, maybe once i've stopped gas'ing for a new bass.

Ah, but finding the right one(s) can be difficult....
especially cause most dists aren't meant for bass

thats why i run out the bypass and use both inputs on my amp for my ibanez tube screamer ts10...the bodd hm-2 keeps the bottom end really well, and its a guitar pedal

Finally got my case and attached my pedals....its still a work in progress. I am going to add a Punch Factory and a George L pedal kit in the next month or so ....

oh another thing for the BSW users out there, I have found it rough to remember more than 1 preset on the BSW, especially after a 6-pack at a gig, so I created a "rolodex" of sorts on the pedal that I can just flip through and find the preset I need. Give it a shot, it has helped me tremendously.

I actually keep the sens, control & range all around 9:00 ... kinda keeps the bottom intact and allows me to dig in a little.

BTW, when is your HH stingray due for delivery? I have to get over to GC and try one out.....

I'm thinking about getting an EBS-1 Preamp and retire my
behringer preamp.

I just created some knob diagrams in Photoshop and printed them out. "Laminated" each strip (preset) in clear packing tape and taped them together. I then taped that to the pedal. Just flip through the tabs like a rolodex to find the preset I need.

It's funny ... I am a long time rack multi effects user and just started getting into individual pedals. I loved the fact I can just set up patches and access them whenever I need to. As we all know, most of these multi effects suck & it took me 10 years to realize that. Until I find a unit that will do everything I need, a pedalboard it is.

I just can't get adjusted to the fact I can't pre-program this thing. This is the only way I am going to remember more than 1 preset on a single pedal ... it's just too damn versatile a pedal to throw away!
