I'm more of a traditionally-minded-tone kinda guy, don't really enjoy using too many effects - so just a light fuzz through the ODB3, gives me a nice fuzzy wah - followed by a complete overkill fuzz/distortion through the Muff for those really heavy stoner rock passages.
The chorus was a random purchase, and seems OK for what it does, but may get swapped for a diff. pedal in the future.

He he he - well, that day anyway........

First off - i mainly play rock and alternative type old school stuff, and like to grind out some stoner rock too.
I'm a fingers player - except on the crazy fast songs.
I put the EQ on my Yammy bass (same as a p-bass, so only one knob) all the way to the bass end, so minimise noise on my pickups.
I then use the EQ to balance it out - i play this way a lot of the time. I just find my bass a little noisy and twangy otherwise.
The odb-3 is for a slight fuzz, and has a moderate low end boost, with a high end boost, mainly to get the mids sorted out rather than anything else.
and YES, mainly to get a good wah sound. I never use the big muff and the wah simulataneously.
My wah is slightly modified - i changed the resistor to decrease the turn-off delay on the pedal - so now when i take my foot off, it automatically stops the effect.
I use the muff for low end decapitation at the knees only sparingly, for those really heavy passages. No guitarist can compete with MY low end and tell the tale..........
The chorus is for looks - it used to be to win the girls, but now i'm married, its just a tease.........i rarely use it, but it does sound pretty interesting with the big muff pi (no pun intended)
I've never had a prob with the Tu2 being last , i just make sure the effects are turned off when i use it.

I actually havent picked it up yet, so i cant fully inform you.. As im sure you've noticed, the cabs have quite a dark, heavy, punchy tone to them.

When i was purchasing my 410, i tried the 610, and it didnt sound quite right, plus it was about $1300-1400, and i got the 410 for $580. And im picking up the 211 for about $450. So it works out cheaper! :hmm:

Also the horn will add some brightness in.

Once i get my rig complete im gonna make a thread and go through it with a full review, so look out for that if you want more info. Or im prolly going to play it sometime this week at the shop and i will report back here.

Here's my current rig. The signal order is:

bass -->
TC-1 tube compressor (a prototype of the CAE V-comp)
Vintage Tone Project Citrus Squeeze compressor
Crews Maniac Sound preamp
(fx loop out)-->
DOD FX25 filter (sensitivity all the way off)
Ibanez AF9 filter
DOD Meatbox
Aramat tremolo

And of course the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power and Boss tuner. I want to get one of those Peterson tuners, though. I like having some sort of overdrive in the chain too, but right now I get all my grunge by clipping the compressors.

Impressive very impressive, you have some very cool pedals there I'm taking the same approach nothing crazy just small high quality effects.

I use the Aramat tremolo for slow, throbbing Angelo Badalamenti type tones. Creepy vintage mood music. I like the Aramat because it has a very smooth, organic sound. The one downside is (like most analog tremolos) it adds a sh-sh-sh-sh noise cycle, so it only really works "in the mix", not soloed.

heres an update.
bass -> behringer chorus with out 1 to amp...out 2 -> george dennis wah -> boss hm-2 -> amp

i plan to get a few more pedals, like a q-tron and a moogerfooger filter and a tuner and a few other crazy wacky things....but when i get my dean pace it'll be plugged into an ab box and so will my ksd so i can switch them without unpluggin anything or taking off my ksd :hyper:

Finally got my wah to work the way I wanted it too :D :D :D

The excitement of getting it to work and a large can of Rockstar lead to post #1......

Anyway, here is a pic of my setup and a geeked pic for reference:

The wah has been explained in the link above, and the tuner and noise suppressor explain themselves, though I also use the NS as a mute (though it's not on that setting in the pic :scowl: ). The volume I use to get a bowed cello type effect. It's real moody :D and dark with the wha heeled :D :D

I don't have the BDDI, yet, but I figure if I've got the wah as my "mid controll" then I don't need one on the amp. So I'm going to get the programmable version for the programmability :rolleyes:
And, even if the BDDI does suck some mids I still have some room to boost them at the wah.

The settings I'm thinking of for the BDDI are Clean, A Little Dirrrrrty, and Gain-Knob-At-MAXXXXXXXX. I'm also considering getting an MXR Micro-Amp to push the DI (4th Chan???).

BTW does anyone know the list price of the BDDI in canada????
