This is my board. As I like to say "If you can't do cool, do 'so bad it's good'." Someone called it unique - I pointed out that it wasn't, because the store had two of them.

It works, it was cheap, and it will be a conversation starter with my bandmates tonight.

Someone needs a good fuzz ;) IMO, of course...other than that, great pedal choice. You picked the midrange-priced stuff that outshines most other midrange-priced stuff.

Thanks - I really appreciate the compliment. I'm not sure you could have paid me a bigger one.

I'm not really in the market for fuzz - I had the ODB-3, but I traded it towards the Sansamp. My preferred distortion tone is the Sansamp set to the "Crimson" setting from the manual (it appeals to my inner John Wetton fan).

I don't know what else I'd want, except maybe a POG somewhere down the line when everything else is paid off and my daughter is through college (she's only 3 now). I'd like an octave-up or a harmonist feature that doesn't sound as synthesized as the Whammy and the Boss PS-5 both do. To be honest, the "Octave Up" GAS is more for an 8-string bass than anything else.

thanks again
Andrew

slight change to my lil board :)

Yeah, tell me about it. :p

My friend isn't a huge TBer, so I like to pass the GAS by whispering boutique brands when we're hanging out. :D You see, he just got his GK/Avatar rig....
"Bergantino.... Epifani... EBS...."
"Victor, I swear I'm going to kill you."

I kinda feel like a nerd when I talk to my guitar player about stuff I learned about from this forum. Cause I go into the, "yeah I found out about (blahblahblah) on that forum I go to..." or "I bought it from a guy on that forum..." etc.

I think we find a way to make bass nerdy :D But I can find a way to make anything nerdy!

I totally agree. But it's okay to be nerdy about playing music. Girls swarm towards musicians... If there's anything to be nerdy about, this is it.

and what does Yoda do?

and on a sidenote:
Since this trhead (well, the part IV reincarnation) is what got me on to TB, here's the provisional arrangement of my pedals. Board is in the mail, as are some other pedals. Plan is to replace the Behringers with others over time. But I'll probably keep the Behringers in a True Bypassloop when I want to fiddle around with my cheap effects...
