Since this trhead (well,the part IV reincarnation) is what got me on to TB, here's the provisional arrangement of my pedals. Board is in the mail, as are some other pedals. Plan is to replace the Behringers with others over time. But I'll probably keep the Behringers in a True Bypassloop when I want to fiddle around with my cheap effects...

What's that pedal all the way on the right?

Does the Hold mode on your DD100 work? I was on a search for a hold-style delay with really short time, and the DD100 has it (as much as I hate to have a plastic pedal, because I tend to break everything), so I bought two of them, and one of them broke (just the hold mode mind you) after 15 minutes of using it and rejoicing in having found what I wanted and then changing the mode just to see what else there was, and the other one was already broken when I bought it.

When I say work I mean you get your clean sound when the pedal is bypassed, and then you press the switch and it holds the next thing you play? I don't mean there is no sound until you hold the switch down and then it loops some random bit of playing forever regardless of delay time.

What a Behringer pedal broke after 15 minutes of use surely you must be kidding.

the pedal on the right is a arion bass flanger, bought it 10 years ago for pennies, very noisy beast.

the DD100: no, the hold function basically never worked, and also, I found the pedal to be extremely noisy, even in Bypass. I only still have it because the shop refused to take it back (hence I don't go there anymore). After that I decided I'd wanted a good delay, and went for the boss DD20, which with a bit of luck I found reasonnably cheap (150€) (about three times the price of the behringer DD100). It has a Loop function (Sound On Sound recording) which you could use in the way you describe the hold function of the DD100), and it works great!

Now I use the DD100 only in my cheap vocal effects chain, and i put my guitarists noise supprosser in the chain as well. no need for a clean signal there...


And Tayste:
strangely enough, of the four Behringer pedals, two never really worked (UP100 phaser and the DD100) but the bass overdrive and the bass chorus still work fine and sound reasonable, if you factor in the price I bought them for: 18 euro's. If I'm ever gonna buy another behringer pedal? not immediatly, no

So i got my VFB-2, kinda disappointed there was no manual or actual box but that made me play with it more :P I'm not too crazy about the feedback setting yet... as i have no real idea what it does besides make annoying noises.

Btw, Pedaltrain coming soon! This board is getting messy lol

hey neatobassman, you also got one of those new fulltone bassdrives, I bought mine from Waterman guitars , great service, and the new led location and mosfet sound really nice, I have my tone dimed, So it retains all of my high end, I still use the compcut setting so the mosfet isn't in use for me because I also use it for a boost (fingerstyle is slightly overdriven and slap is kinda clean , and boost channel is for real overdrive)

Great pedal, also cool for guitar,

I'll post clips of the upcoming demo where the pedal was used

Yea, I'm lovin' mine. I'm trying to figure out if I want that standard overdrive it's got or the compcut one. My favorite thing in the world to do though is have the overdrive going into the small stone with a real slow sweep on it. So lush and great.

My board needs filling! I have a Whammy 4 away getting fixed, and I miss it :( I got bad GgggggggGas! Anyone tried the Zvex Johnny Octave on bass? I've found myself thinking about it a lot lately.
