Yeah, I found it in Japan. It does what EQs suppose to do, I can use it simply as EQ or as preamp by boosting the level. The noise is significantly lower than Boss GE series EQ. It's a shame that Boss stop the production of this unit.

I didn't expect the Bass Whammy to be so small. I was thinking it was the size of the XP-100 or the Whammy IV. Always looked much bigger in photographs. In any sense, the thing is pretty awesome

IMHO, the world's best delay pedals are either digital or gargantuan. Sometimes both.

Why the Line 6 pedals are so friggin HUGE? They're supposed to be digital... if it's going to sound like digital crap, at least keep it small.

It's just the multi-modelers that are so big, and if they weren't as big then the footswitches would be too close together for big-feeted gorillas like me. They have what's good about digital: presets, tons of different modes, etc. If you don't like the sound, then don't use it. Enjoy your .35 seconds of analog delay!

So due to a busy summer (working, college), its been a while since I have been able to find time to take pictures. But it's also given me all the money for all these pedals

Due to cramped apartment space, it is sitting atop my combo amp and I sit on a little chair in front of it and press the pedals with my hands.
It works well, especially for a knob tweeker like me

Boss TU-2 -> Boss EQ-20 -> Sansamp Programmable -> Boss CE-5 -> Metal Muff -> Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah

Its sitting on a homemade pedalboard based off of a pedaltrain design, with some moddifications. It's got plenty of space left for some more gadgets, and I have quite a list to fill it lol

It took me a a/b/c test with the morley dual bass wah, dunlop 105q, and the weeping deomon to pick which one I liked the best.



I use the two speakers you can see (one on the pedal board, one in the corner) to jam along with - they are the two rear speakers of the 5-speaker system I have hooked up to my computer.

anyways, enough ramblings

I havent had alot of time to play this past week (as long as its been up there) but I havent used the wah a whole lot - more just turning the chorus and metal muff on or off.

I just got the weeping demon today, and have had about a half hour (or so) to mess with it - I really like it, and it is probably the best wah for the money that I can think of. It's switchless is great (adjustable delay FTW ) and the extreme versatility is wickedly good. with a few quick dials, I can go from cliff sound to a good funk sound. now I just need to get my foot to master this thing.

Well Justin only uses one Digitech pedal. That was when a certain eletronic specialist worked for Digitech. After the Bass whammy was made, he left for another company i believe.

But if Digitech made something good, it would be the bass whammy.

I think the comments made are more directed at digital technology as a whole rather than at digitech as such.

Thanks for the suggestions about filling the vacant real estate on my board

here are my thoughts...

Filter/Q-tron/AF-9: I used to have the urge to get a mini Q-tron but then I got the bassballs which I'm pretty happy with. The AF-9 seems pretty cool. I do realise that these filters are pretty different sounding from the bassballs but for the moment I'm reasonably content.

Octaver: That is one thing i've been considering for a while - the Octron sounds pretty good but i'll look into the EBS.

Blender/Looper: I'm not sure what i need a blender for... have been thinking about an RC-2 to put my bass on loop so I can take trombone solos though...

Fuzz: been gassing for a Little Big Muff for a while so this is a potential... still, the Bass-drive is pretty competent, not sure if need the Fuzz as well!

Other thoughts: maybe a compressor? I've been hearing good things about the Demeter Compulator... or maybe flanger or phaser, but i'm not all that sure if i'd really use them with band i'm in.

Unfortunately, I don't know any analog loop pedal. Is there any?

Besides, I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that chancellor only uses a Whammy as a digital effect.

Anyway, I hate Line6 in its own more than any other digital or non digital piece of gear. Never been able to nail any tone that didn't seem a bad copy of something else out of their products... but hey, if it works for someone, then it just fine!

A pedal like the barge VFB or the Xotic xblender are never unnecesary!

Ohh how I love people who have Weeping Demons, those things are so versatile, welcome to the club , How does the Metal Muff sound?, I've never tried one before
