Post your Walnut Bass!

Did somebody say FRETLESS WALNUT?

Beautiful scrollbass up for grabs right here on TB from Bruce Johnson!

Just a quick note that I have a slightly used walnut fretless AMUB-2 available. It's #011, the one that I built for Juan, with the wild stripey fingerboard. Juan played it for a couple of months, and has decided that he really needs his walnut Scroll Bass to be fretted. Rather than modify #011, I just took it back in trade and I'm building him a new walnut AMB-2.

Nothing at all wrong with it, other than some of Juan's fingernail scratches on the pickguard. The Chromes are broken in. Well broken in, the way he plays! Anyway, it's available for immediate shipment. A small discount off of the new price.

You know where to reach me.

It's the one in the dramatic pictures with the Philco radio:

Wish it were mine.

No affiliation with seller, other than we're both TB members who like scroll basses. :)

Pair o' Dukes 1.JPG Kramer 1.JPG My Kramer Dukes, and my Kramer 450B, are walnut (except for the maple strips on the 450B). I also have a Kramer Forum III, but as to what it's made out of - no clue. Not sure anybody knows, either...

This was my 4th full build, "T-Nuts", which was made with a nice crotch walnut top

And this is a build in progress for @rogerbmiller, also a crotch walnut top and back

And if anyone is into walnut stuff, you should really check out (or participate in?) the upcoming Winter Build-Off in the Luthier's Corner section.
