Preamp close to a sadowsky

They don't make one, I've been on their site They do not have a preamp with treble, bass and Mids on their site.if you see one please post a link to it
I had a friend over to the house one day. He has an Aguilar tone hammer pedal. We were able to make it sound just like the Sadowsky pre in my bass
The Aguilar Tone Hammer pedal has the same corner frequencies for the bass and treble bands as the Sadowsky.

Sometimes I like to bump up,the mids in a song not so much the highs. It's not a all the time thing, but I like having that extra control. I know some will say do it from your amp but I like to leave that alone once I have it set if I need to tweek my sound I like to do it from my bass.

The Nordstrand preamp eq points were based off of the Sadowsky preamp, according to Carey in one of his videos.
The Sadowski preamp is conceived in such a way that it makes your bass sound fantastic in most settings using two interractive wide Q eq bands. Technically it can NOT be emulated using a 3 band eq. Roger specifically insist on that point and insist on saying his preamp is much better that way and the mids would negatively alter the "Sadowski sound" From my experience I do agree with him. When you got Sadowski preamp you will never miss the mids so my opinion is, if it is the sound you like, get the real thing and I assure you, you will be happy with it.
^^^Make sure you buy a Sadowsky preamp and NOT a Sadowski preamp.
I owned a nyc sadowsky. Did not care for the eq. It sounded good, yes. But not nearly good enough to make up for the boost-only, bass/treble nature of the eq. Some people love it. I much prefer the Nordstrand 3-band.
The east is a good pre, but very "active" sounding. It is not a warm and natural sounding pre.

I remember reading on Marcus Miller years ago and he stated in an interview he had a Stars Guitars preamp in his bass... Makes you wonder... I'm pretty sure Marcus Miller's bass was modded before Roger really got off the ground as far as a significant maker... On the Stars Guitars note, seriously, Good Luck finding one- "Rare as Hen's Teeth!"
Sadowsky has a 3-band in the Will Lee models - freq. is switchable from 500 or 800 Hz, IIRC, and Q and volume can be worked from interior pots.
Personally, I like the Sadowsky 2-band quite a bit, and the secret weapon is the passive tone control. Particularly if you use the Modern 5-24, no lack of mids until you start boosting the lows and highs!
Limited experience with Nordstrand pre-amp, but recall liking it.
If you must have variable mids, the East is a winner. I have it in my prime axe, along with passive tone control, and am very pleased.
