Go to Basses forum and post a new thread. Someone can help you better this way.Hey guys, I have a question for the Fender experts here. The thing is that think that I've probably found a Fender Jazz Bass but im not quite sure about it yet.... some guy is selling a heavy damaged bass and it makes me curious cuz he says that it is a Squier JB but it doesnt really look like a Squier for me. Maple neck and the trussrod hole in the body are some of the features that make me doubt about... but as I said, I would like to ask the guys who knows better about the subject. The guy left some pixx on internet btw, here they are:

TORT!If you had to choose either a black or a white bass, which would be. I want to settle this for once and for all.
I always see threads popping up about which of the two basses is better, so today I've decided to settle the age-old debate for good (as best I can.) Above, you can see a simple poll where you can vote for your favourite of the two. Feel free to comment below about your reasons. Also, if you think that they both have their own merits and are a case of apples and oranges (which I agree with) vote for the one you would choose if you could only have one bass, as hard as that may be. Let's hope that this poll helps put the debate to rest somewhat.
PS: non-Fender J and P style basses count as well
In the absence of a volume pedal, a single volume pot is more user friendly for output, swells and fades. Ever try to fade two pots at once - chewing gum or not????2 volume pots are tough. Do you have to sit down while chewing gum?

Close race between black and white, but we're getting there.
My best friend is a guitarist with 17 guitars. He is constantly selling, trading etc, and there are a couple he never parts with. He recently moved and finds himself having to pare down to 6. He's having a tough time.OK, but what if you could only have 21 basses? Which would you have 11 of, and which only 10?
