Production Medium Scale Bass Guitars

i know i must seem overly picky, being that i am trying to find an already fairly obscure instrument, with very specific criteria. and i guess i am, in re: the physical layout (scale, neck profile, neck width, reach to 1st position), but those are all ergo related, which is the essence here

for instance, the eastwood 32" mosrite clone looks great, but the bridge sits so far up the body, it basically obviates any advantage of the 32" scale in re: reach to first, the waterstone tom petersons the same, and no horn

i was eyeing the stambaugh site earlier, and there seems to be potential there, though pricy (for me, very pricy really, not sure how all you cats have many multi-thousand dollar basses).
