Burning question - are you putting the pickups in the Ric positions, or the Tbird positions?
They will be in the T-BIRD positions. That is the plan so far. It's up to D if he wants that changed, but being that the scale length has changed, it would be approximate anyway.
A T-Bird that doesn't neck dive. Novel Concept! Actually I am a bit of Born Again T-Bird for this Sandberg 48 too, that thing is Badass, and I dig all the racing-stripe vibe. I just drew one of these up for somebody building a clone.

This was from last night at band, not this morning. I'm not quite that hardcore.
BUT... I did want to share a little side story here about the band spot.
We get together and play weekly and that was definitely changed a bit in March. Since then, we went from playing in the house to a much more spacious, social distance-capable storage barn in my buddy's back yard.
It's been great, but with the weather turning, we needed heat. My buddy found a double-barrel wood burning unit and recently piped that in. The guitarist and I looked at it and thought about putting a cooking surface between the barrels to actually make a pizza oven of sorts. And since the guy who owns the place hoards all kinds of cool stuff, he actually had a cast iron cooking tray. So he cleaned that up and mounted it between the barrels:
I got a text just before band that we needed a pizza peel, so I made this:
And when the guitarist showed up with ingredients, it was time for action.
The oven was a complete success! Crispy delicious pizza was had by all!
And the barn was a steady 60-70 degrees all night. A rousing success all around.
Pizza time is over, now is the time for BASS.

I'm mostly amused that the writing on the beer can is upside down......for when you drink too many.
As for the pizza oven....there are no words to describe how awesome that is.
Well, in the old Guitar Player magazines Teisco DelRay often referred to some of the weirder stuff as "electric pizza spatulas" or something like that.
Hah! I should have known there might be a build thread for my new bass... I feel like I've finally arrived! Super stoked for this bass. I know Adam's going to knock it out the park!

Though if I were doing this for real, I'd likely want something better than MDF as the surface, but I was only given a few minutes to build this, so it is what it is. That said, there was no taste of fiberboard in the 'za, so that was good.
And D, I tagged you in the first post, man! Though I should have linked you via PM, my bad.
Hey @rojo412, you doing a volute, or the standard Ric "slow-fade" neck/headstock transition. I'll strongly recommend a volute, adds a lot of strength, plus it just looks cool on laminated necks when the "stripes" follow the volute. 
i actually like having that tactile stop at the end of the neck. It doesn't get in the way at all, but lets you know where you are in the dark.

It's definitely going to be a volute.
I don't trust it without it and D definitely requested it. I'll be trying to follow your instructions on the specs, too.

Very nice, but Rojo's pizza shovel has got that janky "hand me that scroll saw, stat!" appeal that money just cant buy.
Though I've lacked some updates, I have done some work. Here's the board slotted:
I was working on the truss channel yesterday as well, but didn't get any pics and am still wrestling with some minor details. Once that is more concrete, I'll post some pics.
The holiday, as well as lockdown orders around the area, are making the acquisition of "wing wood" a little tougher these days. I have backup plans in order, but definitely need to see about that soon. After the turkey and black Friday madness subside, at least.
