Pronounce Aguilar for me ....

this is probably going to sound like a ridiculous thing to ask,... but, can somebody tell me how to pronounce the word Aguilar...? is it
AG-GEELAR,...or AG- GWEELAR, or something entirely different altogether, I cant see it though and I'm willing to bet my right "goolie" (or left) that it is someones Surname, Mexican, South American.....I don't know I'm ignorant, but I want to know....???

When referring to my GS 212, this is the pronunciation I use.

Not sure if it's correct, but I've always pronounced it "AG-U-LAR"

It's pronounced ah-GEE-lar in spanish...the "g" is not the same as in "gee whiz, ligthen up Francis"....but has a softer phoneme.

It's not necessarily the case that the person hired to answer the phone, knows how to pronounce the company's name - most call-centre's these days seem to be routed to India!!

Personally, I don't much care how a person from Australia pronounces 'Aguilar'. I just love their accent. I'd rather hear you mispronounce it than listen to myself say it correctly (assuming I could).

Yup... yes it does.

If their voicemail system says Ag-You-Lar I'll assume that's correct. I was close with Ag-Yuh-Lar at least.
