If you haven't eaten in 2 weeks, a good ham sandwich is better than either. What's "best" is relative to your needs.

I think I saw Geddy with one at some point. I'd really like to try a J bass with P neck just to see what impact it would have on the tone.
Umm...only if you rewired.

Troll much? LOL!
IF there are more Jazz basses for sale, mightn't that indicate more HAVE BEEN SOLD? Just a thought.![]()

That's like asking if blondes are better than redheads, or scotch is better than ale, or if Rock is better than jazz, or...well, you get the idea.

Do asians count as brunettes? What about black girls?
Wait... by the OP's theory... maybe you see so few redheads because they're better than blondes and brunettes.![]()
Generally, no.
So if I ask 'blonde, brunette or redahead' that implies the person would only choose white girls?
Update
I was trying to stir up a conversation about the used market. Don't see the value of the condemning comments. I really don't give a dam what you trolling bass nerd types have to say. Please stay in your closets picking your exotic world class bass guitars and leave us working class Fender players alone.

I wish there was a used redhead store someplace close by....
And there are a lot more Fords on the road than Maserati's.

Your eyes are full of hate, forty-two. That's good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength.
How come you can form the plural of 'Ford' properly, but not 'Maserati' ?
I'm not trying to be an as's's's's's. It just comes effortles'sly.
