PYPB 38: When 'a few' just isn't enough...

So, this set up has proved pretty solid, no changes of late. Pretty happy. Could be down to my new found synth gas...

nice boards allover!

I'm not here very often but when I go through these PYPB threads it's giving me gas every time..and kinda makes me think.. wow everything's so clean and tasty!
Here is mine, upgraded with Rang3 :). A few istn't enough!
..Next will be a Pedaltrain Pro and some quality cables... :ninja:

cheers

How are you using the Ajax? I was eyeing one when they came out. Your set up looks like it could make some awesome sounds, I'd love to hear anything you've got.

I like the bunny pedals!

Just saw your PM! Yeah, the Bunny pedals are awesome. I use the Kowloon Walled Bunny (DOD 250/MXR Distortion+) circuit as a slight gain boost, and the Ratmussen (Rat clone modded for more low end) for "tear your face off" distortion.

Here's more info on the pedals for anyone else who might be interested:

I've lurked through PYPB threads for a while and finally decided to post in on, this is my first major version of my IKEA board

The BBM may me on the way out though as I've just ordered a sublime :)

I'm looking for a delay and reverb, any recommendations?

do you like analog or digital delay sounds?? as for reverb, i've heard good things about the Boss RV series... i think the RV-2 is the favourite.. I might be wrong. The EHX Holy Grail never really impressed me that much.

Delays, I love digital, I use a Boss DD-7 and/or a Digitech Digidelay, I have a Line 6 DL4 also which is great and really versatile.. Of course there are much more complex and expensive delays out there, alot of buzz around the Strymon Timeline at the moment.

Daniel L: For delay I use and recommend a TC Electronics Flashback Delay. It has plenty of great features including a fun feature called toneprints. Look into it, its not that expensive either for all the many many things they packed into this pedal.

I was thinking about digital delay at first, i was looking at the Hardwire DL-8, it does emulate analog delay as well, i guess getting me used to the world of delays, its just hard because the two music shops near me only really stock Boss, Digitech and Behringer, and even then, not that many

Line 6 Echo Park. Sound absolutely the best to me (great tape and analog emulations), very versatile and a great tap tempo. No delay without tap tempo for me thank you.
Flashback sound ok and all, but the "stroke strings" tap tempo system sucks balls.

I had to break it down to essentials. The board only fits 8. The empty spot is for the Dark Driving by Fuzzrocious. Should be here today. Im happy with it though.

Do you use the VT and Rusty Box at the same time? I just bought a Rusty Box to potentially push my VT off the board, was going to go one or the other... I'd be curious to hear how you use them both. What order/purposes?
