PYPB 38: When 'a few' just isn't enough...

Looks ugly at the moment but sounds great. The high and low outputs of the FEA dual band compressor make a big difference. Tragically I had to leave the BMC off for the moment but it will return when I finish making my pedal board aluminum frame, get eveything attached and cleaned up. This will hold me over for my next gig though. :hyper:

Lol, I have tried almost every budget Chorus I can think of except a Boss CE-2 and all its clones and the EBS.

I had the Bass IQ for a while. I liked it. It didn't really seem as "funky" as other Filter pedals, but I really liked the hi-pass trimmer and the "Down" switch. It was neat to turn off all the highs and switch on Down with the Attack set for a nice swell.

My BassIQ is on "down" right now, although I also like to use different settings. That pedal puts out some cool sounds.

Which chorus and envelope filter did you ultimately decide on?

Here's my latest set up shows in perfect cell phone crap vision. Yes I like dirt.

really digging this setup!

how are you finding the modfactor? i want a phaser, i want a chorus, i want lots of modulation on my board but for the life of me can't f'n choose a single pedal to try, so i've been looking at these quite a bit. it's last in your chain yeah? how do you find it after the stashe? i've got a b7k (kinda sort not really similar) and i was thinking the modulation would have to go after that...

I gave up on Envelope Filters. They're fun and cool, but I don't use filters much...

I run a talkbox (yes) from the dry out of my Whammy-Wah. I've been looking lately at modding CryBabys, though. I've owned a few wahs and always thought they were fun, but kind of hard to find a place for.

Still haven't found a Chorus yet...I was hoping the Line 6 Space Chorus would be it, and it is...except for the nasty habit of sucking lows.

Cleaned up and upgraded...
Had a my boss oc-2 rehoused and modded. Its in the top right corner next to the orbit. It has a volume input, volume output aswell as the -2 -1 and clean signals. that way i can get a louder signal out of the pedal something that boss oc-2 has always been an issue. also i can overdrive the pedal easily with out it being too loud

A work In progress. I need get some George L's to finish it off.

I do have some changes planned shortly. I want to add a DOD250 or build a clone. I'll use the Hematoma for distortion and the 250 for mild grit. It's still my favorite true OD on bass, and I have been without it since my old massive board was stolen a few years back.

The only other pedal I can see adding is an Octave, but before that happens, I need to replace the power supply with something that I can mount under the board.

I love it to pieces but Ive actually got it up in the classified right now just due to the fact that I use chorus and phase and that's about it and it does those to a t and beyond but it was a very expensive impulse buy and I'm trying to give it to some one that will take the time to discover the worlds inside this crazy box.

And I've always preferred my modulation after my dirt and it's pretty nuts after the stache.

The other really nice thing is its a buffered output ( well you can choose) in the options menu how you want it to output and bypass haha.

I love how the Polytune is like in the eye of a storm of awesomeness...

Something I forgot to add os I generally always have a very subtle chorus effect that is always on if my Rat King is on which is usually always hah. It plays really well with others.

The great pedal board move around of 2012 starts this weekend - I have taken Mon - Wed off work next week! Yes - It's that big a job. lol.

We shot this a few weeks ago and a friend just finished editing it. We are doing a professional video for a new tune in a few weeks so this was a 'freebie' try out with basic cameras and free editing software. Funded by cups of tea and lots of Cheese & Ham toasties... You get to see a few bits of my board, mainly the TC and Moog stuff...

That Weegee pedal wins everything, lol.

Well let me know what goes on the chopping block for sale, you know you don't use the Mp-201 much ;)

Woah. Trippy. I like it.

Tell me more about this free editing software.

Cheers dude... I'll have a word with our mate Vince who was the man behind the camera's and the laptop etc. and find out exactly what he used!

Ha. Most of the stuff going has already been sold! The MP-201 most certainly IS NOT going. In fact I'm considering a spare!

I have an 8-way True Bypass Looper on the chopping block and I 'think' everything else is staying at the mo!
