Nice board. How does the Minataur work for you? I never see them on here, or hear much about them.
So i recently tried to downsize, but it just didn't work out. Back to my bigger board again, and with some new stuff lol
Ehx Freeze(finally) and the Moog MF-Ring.

Few small changes to the board. The WMD Geiger Counter Civilian Issue is finally coming off. Awesome little pedal. So many cool unique sounds, but just not necessary for me. I was using it mainly for a bitcrushing effect, which I now get on theInvalid Link Removed Mobius by using the Destroyer Algorithm! I have also removed the Fuzzrocious Rat Tail. Great Rat distortion clone, but it was a bit too big for a sound I don't use too often. So I replaced my gated fuzz setting on the Source Audio OFD with a Rat setting. So now the OFD is for light tube drive and a Rat distortion. I put the Zvex Mastotron back on my board to recover the gated fuzz sound I lost on the OFD. I forgot how much I liked the sound of the Mastotron. The other newcomer to the board is the Electro Harmoniz Key 9 keyboard emulation pedal. This does a decent job at emulating Rhodes, Organ, and Mallet sounds. Do be honest it works much better on guitar than bass, but up in the higher registers of my six string DingwallABZ, I've found some fun and usable sounds with it. We'll see how long this arrangement lasts!
Cool! I had the B9. It was fun, but the key 9 looks better. Sometimes I wish I played guitar just because some effects sound/track better. My 5 string lakland strung with a high C does fine for me though!
Awesome board Lenny! I'm jealous of your Key9, I want one pretty much just for steel drum sounds - have you tried that, how does it compare? I'm having trouble finding any good demos.
I'm talking about how it makes abrupt note changes instead of being a smooth slide like a whammy.
Here's the current iteration of my pedal board. I've been working on getting essential with my dirt tones and this seems to be what I'm settling on. I play in three very different bands and need both the barbershop and the VMTD for the lower gain applications and also need the woodchipper and civil war to handle the fuzzier side of my distortion needs. I'm loving the cali76 CB which nicely fattens up my clean tone. And most imortantly, these pedals all play well together.
Finally finished my new board, and I'm very happy with it:
The front row of the board is dominated by light ODs and dirty boosts which I find useful in stacking to get different EQ tone 'flavors' during my gigs. The Proton will likely be replaced by a Wonderlove in the near future.
Side view showing the tiers, which allow me to activate pedals in the back rows more easily and without bumping knobs on front row pedals. The tiers are removable from below if I want to change the arrangement, but the back tier is covering both power supplies so I likely will always have at least the back tier.
And this is the additional board for the pedals that sit on top of my amp:

Both of my PS-3s, with the EV-5, glissando smoothly like a whammy.
the minitaur is synced to my 12 step foot controller. It is a great Taurus compromise. fat sounding and simple to use. I am yet to figure out how to access presets through my midi controller but generally its a set and forget sound for me.
The steel drum sounds is one of the presets I don't think plays to nicely with bass, but it is better than the marimba sound on bass. I'll try to get to a review of it here soon. Look for it in my pedal demos thread.
It sounds great! I A/B'ed against 5 or 6 others, and it won by a wide margin. I love it!
I had it too. It's awesome. Would have replaced my Carbon Copy if it wasn't so big. Can sound a lot like it.
The Supapus always interested me!
Yea the tap tempo is a must really for delay. Some people recommend digital for bass but I've always been keen on the supapuss. You had much experience with digital vs analog? Mine is very limited.
