PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Long time lurker here! Love watching everyone's boards evolve over time. This is my most recent incarnation . So very happy with how it turned out,my board never looks this organized.

Ugh a Glacial Zenith with an avalanche Run. I should have waited to order a OD-Boost.

Nice board! Super clean!

Ventris came today! Of course it did, right before I head out of town for a week. I just need a Neuro coupler for Input 1 and I'll be all set. Added the Polytune blacklight a while back. No reason except I like the blue lights. I think this is enough to keep me busy for a while.

awesome board!! I love my Nemesis and Ventris combo, the "True Spring" and "Plate" verb engines are pretty much always on for me. The Offspeing engine is a gamechanger, imo, and sounds killer on my vocals and drum machine.

I have a love-relationship with SA stuff, but I still think that board sexy :)

This board is pure gear porn!

Wow, lots of Source Audio there. How do you find working with the hub and the soleman?

Any issues with tone suck from Corrin? I've got an Ike on my board and while I love the sound I've found my bypassed tone suffers a little. ;)

Thank you everyone for the kind words :)

Corrin isn't as bad as some other FE characters from what I read. Haven't notice a difference in my tone when she's in bypass mode Im sure there's a mod out there for your Ike's poor bypass.

Love it. Bit of a learning curve but not much, it's very intuitive once you get started. I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of pedals, got my first one (the Markbass compressor) less than two years ago. So if it was really complicated I'd be in trouble. The thing I love about the SA stuff is it's all plug and play, you have these incredible tweaking capabilities under the hood but you can have a boatload of fun even if you never go there. I just mess around with the different pedals, find a sound I like, and save it as a preset. Couldn't be easier.

As usual not as much of a regular pedal board, but more a collection of pedals lined up and linked together by patch cables:

This is my home headphone practising setup, hence the M-Audio Fast Track audio interface last in the chain, which I pretty much use as headphone amp.

However I plan for this to be me my jam setup in the future too for both band rehearsals and eventual live gigs.

The signal chain is as follows:

Harley Benton CPT-20 pedal tuner, which also functions as a mute when switched on. >

Boss LS-2 effect loop line selector, with the tuner pedal going into input and set to the [A+B Mix >> Bypass] setting, with loop A functioning as clean blend set to slightly above 25% and the B loop running on the Behringer GDI21, which I use as dirt unit, at about 50%. >

Behringer GDI21 guitar preamp and dirt pedal, set to the [California], [Clean] and [Off Axis] settings with a good amount of dirt dialed in. (A pretty exact, but cheaper build clone of the Tech 21 GT2). >

Monarch MFL-22 flanger. >

EHX Black Finger
tube driven optical compressor, used as tube preamp by almost entirely dialing the compression circuit out of the equation, and set to a mild tube breakup when digging in hard (always on). >

Behringer BEQ700 7 band graphic bass EQ (always on).

Pedals to be added in the near future:

Mooer Tender Octaver MKII octave down/up

EHX Canyon
digital delay

Well damn... A little over a week ago I posted my board, needless to say I just switched it up completely! It'll all probably change again in the near future, eventhough at the moment I'm convinced this is it. We'll see what happens.

Chain: Fender Jazz -> Bass synth wah - Bluesdriver - Phaser - VT deluxe (tuner in parallel out) -> Markbass amps

received_10214673150367490.jpg

The VT is always on, it's my pre amp and I love the bluesdriver as an overdrive/distortion. I use the phaser in a couple of songs, with a slow phase to add some "mood" to it all (Kind of like in "the death of coyote woman" by All Them Witches.). I just got my hands on the synth wah so I don't know if it'll be usefull, but at the moment I like to mess with it. It'll probably be the one that's going to make room for something different in the future. (Tuner is always on.)

ps: The red one is a vocal pedal, it gives me delay and reverb.

Took the ss/bs Mini off my board for the first time in what feels like years in order to fit the new Fredric Effects Bugcrusher (licensed by Bugbrand) - it's absolutely stellar and exactly what I was hoping for. Purchased an Empress Buffer+ because I realized I had no buffer and really wanted the noise filter function on it. Definitely added some clarity to my signal chain. I also re-added my Meatbox and hope to put it to use more!
