I have a question, with the EFX II, do you still need the SA Hub?

Yeah, I understand how the Hub works, I've got one myself. I guess what I'm wondering is if you have a MIDI controller like an EFX, or like the DPC, do you still need the Hub? Does the Hub do the same thing as the EFX? I know you can update the SB2 pedals with the Hub, but if you have a MIDI controlling device, is the Hub still necessary?

Yes. With only the musicom, I can only program whether each loop is turned on or off. That only really gives me instant access to one sound per pedal.

Ahh, ok. I thought the EFX would have the same functionality as the Hub. I think with the DPC, which is MIDI connected to my Strymons, you can actually bank up & down, scroll through presets, and save scenes.

Current pedalboard update. Added the TC Electronics HOF and DOD Preamp 250 reissue. This is the result of the intensive sell off and simplification of my pedalboard. Killer sounds so far. The beam-to-pedal feature on the HOF is amazing and the DOD is awesome. No low end loss at all.

First experience with Lava Cables as well. Much more involved than George L's but I like them enough so far. They definitely take up less space than the George L's though the cable is stiffer. They are a smudge bigger than my Hosa pancake cables, but because the head is so small, you can make up for that.
