How is it possible you built such a nice pedal board - even put a clock on the darned thing - and you didn't install a small light so you could see the pedals on stage (and maybe a small fan pointing up cause it gets warm under the lights, you know)?

I seem to be doing this a lot my issue is trying to get a little board to have most of the features of the monster board. Almost there I really don't think I can squeeze one more pedal on to the F16, 8 may be it.

same board, added a memory boy and changed the order abit, now I'm running the bass compressor before the preamp (didn't do that the last time because of the lack of cables). Green Rhino in the effects loop of the memory boy, and the expression pedal now works with the Xerograph! Thanks to Taylor for the quick replies and help.

Bought Nose expression pedals for the Memory Boy and Frantabit- learnt my lesson and got the TRS one this time round.

Nice board kester,...whatchyadoin with the iRig?

Okay that has a slightly obvious answer,...just wondering if you are successfully using it as a practice tool (with which app?) or if you are using it for recording purposes.

I'm hoping to get a used Gen 1 iPad and the Garageband app for recording purposes as well. Gotta start saving though,...and I can't really justify buying the Gen2. I could potentially just use my iPod touch,...but it's only an 8gig however.

Unfortunately my laptop is so barebones that I have my doubts at how stable it will be with DAW software and tons of projects recorded on it and the integrated vid/sound card is not all that great.

Getting a used iPad seems like it would be a lot cheaper then building a full blown DAW capable PC,...and for the most part,...simple demo recordings would be the main function of an iPad for me.

meh. you could totally get a new laptop that was plenty fast with a half TB of storage for $300-$400. iPad's are a waste of money. screw Apple and their No Upgardeable/External Memory price gouging schemes. REVOLT!!

or if you want a touchscreen palmtop, get an Android for like $200 and pop in memory cards.
