The header of the ad definitely seems deceptive to me, but I guess it’s supposed to catch your attention and it does that, better than if it said reissue.
I agree, I would’ve assumed it was an original at that price.
I’m no expert, but I can’t see any Fender made in the 80’s worth that much. Hard for me to comprehend any bass being that much, but I at least understand when they’re original 50’s or 60’s models in pristine shape.
I’m curious what the experts have to say, because to me, No matter how rare the color or hardware colors are, it’s still a 1987 Fender P-bass.
It looks beautiful, I’ve never seen one like it, and hopefully it’s as nice to play.......BUT, it’s still a 1987 Fender P-Bass.
