Quilter sales told me to wait just a few months longer I guess Aug /Sep release time-frame.
I'm thinking, Sunn...I'm guessing it's coming out at the same time the new Peavey Cirrus bass comes out!!!!
I'm thinking, Sunn...
Although, Quilter is nothing like this new, modern Sunn company.
Any updates to when the V803 is coming out?
Yes! I just received one in for review in Bass Gear Magazine, so they do exist!![]()

I will buy it as soon as it's available, no need to try it or even read reviews.I’ve been GASing for a new amp for a couple years now. But every time I do a string of gigs I’m happy with my BB800. “It sounds like bass” in the best sense. Very interested to hear some demos and reviews on the V803! Maybe this will be my new amp.
Great news! If you are in touch with the Quilter staff, can you ask them why they always make "post everything" XLR out? They must have a strong opinion on that topic, I'm really curious. I wonder what would be the cost of a "pre/post" switch?Yes! I just received one in for review in Bass Gear Magazine, so they do exist!![]()

I hear you. That preamp layout and feature set is really good. I bet Quilter uses NL4 SpeakOn connectors, unlike some iconic amp manufacturersI will buy it as soon as it's available, no need to try it or even read reviews.
I’ve had an 800 paired with 3 barefaced One10s. It was epic. Very nice.Seems like Quilter always has that one head scratcher with each version of the BB. Last time it was the lack of XLR DI / need for that silly adaptor. Still, this one I am interested in the most, may give it a try once it's out, I've heard Quilters pair real nice with Barefaced cabs.
