I didn't feel like coffee, so I had water.
I'm roasting a Costa Rican and Colombian this weekend, so I'll be pumped to try those next Friday.

Sourdough toast with cinnamon and sugar. Mexican pour over.
Gray and overcast in my part of the world. Perfect day for working outside, and excellent weather for roasting coffee.

Oatmeal with maple syrup, half a grapefruit, and plenty of water.
It's a hot one in the Puget Sound today, mid 80's, so I'll try to stay inside until it cools off this evening.

I got up a bit late so I had lunch not breakfast. I finished my bag of Bows and Arrows (from Victoria BC) Inza smallholders thorough the day so I went to my coffee shop here and bought some of Link Removed. Eager to try it tomorrow.

I had cereal today. First time in a long time I was able to eat breakfast.
No coffee in the morning though. Wait... No I had a Flat White from Starbucks.

English muffins, two, with cream cheese and peanut butter. Washed down with a Tanzanian pour over using beans I roasted Tuesday. It came out really good.
The sun is out in the Puget Sound, time to get busy. The wife and I are preparing spaghetti lunch for 30, then heading to friends house tonight to watch a movie in their backyard, projected onto the side of the house. The movie is The Outsiders.

Homemade gnocchi in a spicy tomato sauce. I'm not sure why that sounded good for breakfast at 7:15AM this morning, but it did and it was great.

Crispy cool and foggy in my end of the Puget Sound. Mornings just the way I like them.

Some beans that my gal brought home from work. She said they all thought it was too dark. It's heavenly for me. I've been doing french press for a few months. I go through phases. Nada to eat. My stomach isn't happy with me because, reasons.

Oatmeal and Tanzania for my pour over this morning. I am letting a Honduran rest a few more hours, I roasted it Wednesday, then I'll give that it's initial try later on.

Sourdough toast with bread I bought this morning from the neighborhood bakery that is about to close after 30+ years in business.
I scouted out my competition this morning and picked up a 16 ounce drip from one of the other roasters here in town, Cutters Point.

Leftover MOD pizza, and a pour over made with some Colombian beans I roasted Monday.
The beans came to me highly regarded with advice to roast them a bit darker than typical. I did so reluctantly, and it paid off. Likely one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had in my life.
