Rate My Custom Headstock Logo!

My two sense (cents) says that it sounds like a cheap bass and reminds me of a Doctor.
Dr. Atkinson.

You know who I'm speaking of??

I would come up with another name. I am in marketing and a name can make or break you!
Some friends might say they like it... but the real test is in marketing your product to the real world.

That widget under the name reminds me of a baseball team logo.

My comment might seem a little harsh, but I am a straight up guy and sometimes it is just better to
hear some real advice.

You know, I'm thinking the same thing. I'm making some changes and will post a pic later.

Thanks for all the advice. :D

ahh ... but is it sound legal advice you've chosen to follow?

if you're going to keep the Fender headstock I HIGHLY recommend you touch base with a tradmark attorney to make sure you're in the clear with your business activities ... you may just find that the mob's stick it to the man advice may be more costly than you currently comprehend ;)

in the end you'll eventually come to understand that the choices you make reflect the core ethics of your business - blatently 'stealing' the trademarked Fender headstock design (if that's what you end up choosing to do) and selling this as a product that is branded as your own will never get you to the same place as hard work to establish even modest originality and then creating and marketing your own unique design

one path is worthy of respect .... one path is worthy of disgrace. you reap what you sow ... a couple short-term sales don't establish a long-term business that attracts repeat customers

all the best,

R

Ok, made some tweaks. Moved it to back of headstock to avoid Fender trouble. Hopefully.

Put the website URL on there also. Not sure if that looks ok.

Thanks for the input, but I'm not sure how my builds are any different than what Bill Nash is doing, as long as I don't put a logo on the headstock front.

Is Bill Nash disgraceful?

Why the fender headstock.
Wouldn't this logo deserve to be seen on something more original?
And
Anyone can just copy someone elses' work.
If you use their headstock you may as well nick their name tag.
