I've painted a LOT of things with rattle can paint jobs. Which includes 4 sets of rims, and MANY other things. I went to school for Industrial Design and we were constantly working on projects that required endless hours of prepping, sanding, painting, and clear coating. Some ppl are shocked at what you can do with a can of spray paint when it's prepped right, and done with patience.
I'm planning on refinishing a bass in the near future with some custom layered graphics. I bought a nice 24" vinyl plotter a while back to get into disc golf dyes, and eventually picked up some vinyl graphic work on the side, along with a small shirt press to be able to cut and apply my own stuff to shirts.
Anyways, it works awesome when you want to spray on a custom graphic. It basically gives you a template, you spray, and then you remove. I think I might work a nice Slayer Eagle on one of my basses that's a little beat up where I don't really care about the paint job on em.
Anyways. Keep posting! I wanna see more!
